Ideally located on the main square, perfect for enjoying the village's charm from the terrace. The service was simply impeccable: a dynamic, friendly, and remarkably quick team despite the crowds. Prices are very reasonable for the area, making it a great option for a successful lunch break. I highly recommend it!

Decent food. We were unfortunately seated in the dining room (during peak hours), but the owner arranged a table for our group, and we received excellent service despite the busy time. Good food for a restaurant of this type. Very nice ice cream sundaes. What more could you ask for!

The children's menus are high quality and reasonably priced—that's rare!
And the service is really pleasant; you don't feel like you're in a tourist trap.

The staff were welcoming, attentive, and very pleasant. The dishes were beautifully presented, but the cooking was truly awful.
It's a real shame to overcook the duck breast. If you want to enjoy this product, look elsewhere and try another restaurant for better value.
It's a pity because everything else was good enough for a pleasant experience.

A very pleasant surprise after our disastrous experience at a restaurant in Andernos. The food was excellent and well-prepared, the staff very friendly, and the terrace lovely. Very good value for money. It's a welcome change from the tourist traps elsewhere that then complain about not having enough customers. I highly recommend this beautiful location.

The dishes we ordered were simple and perfectly adequate, but above all, a huge thank you to the incredibly kind staff. We had two children, one five years old and the other one and a half, and it was hard for them to sit still for two hours, but the staff were absolutely wonderful with them and with us, running around everywhere and providing top-notch service. It's a welcome change! :)

It's hard to understand why this place only has a 3.4 rating. I don't know if it was due to competition or past bad practices, but I certainly think it should be around 4.5. The food seemed good to me; the duck was delicious, the cheeses plentiful, and the children's menu generous. The service was friendly and fast. They were very kind when the rain flooded the place. The only unpleasant thing was the smokers at the next table on the terrace, but that's obviously not their fault.

The only unique feature is the merging of two restaurants, Le Var de la Poste and La Bouchon, allowing you to choose from both menus. Unfortunately, my dish was very bland (Caesar salad where the chicken seemed to have been boiled and unsalted), the veggie burger was quite tasty, and the lamb shank with coco beans (the beans were rather mediocre in my opinion). But everything is subjective, it's all a matter of taste! The service was slow, perhaps a little disorganized? It's a shame...
