We really enjoyed the beef carpaccio with truffle, the chicken brochette, and the duck at our dinner. Surprised by the negative reviews because we found the staff very friendly, and the food was very tasty. A little pricey but makes sense because of the great location and atmosphere.

Go there just for atmosphere. Good location. Maybe too busy so need to wait for a waiter to come for a long time. And another long wait for whatever you ask for. Food was not amazing, and we were busy with the flies when the food finally came.

Dining outside is in the square below the main church, but umbrellas provide a nice bit of shade. Curiously the seating areas covers 2 restaurants and you can order from either menu and the staff sort out the logistics! We had the menu du jour, which had 3 courses for 24 Euros. Starter of Tagliatelle of courgette with a vinaigrette dressing, followed by Texas style pork ribs and then a floating island of meringue on creme Anglaise. A lovely meal in a beautiful square of one of the most beautiful towns in France.

Lunch today. Everything went well. We ate inside and saw four different employees, all very friendly. The service was quick, the duck was cooked exactly as requested. The crepe and ice cream for dessert were delicious, and the coffee was well-served. The bill was reasonable for the location.

Excellent. This restaurant, as I was told, is owned by the same person as the pizzeria; both are very good, and the location is strategic. They have the longest opening hours and close later than the rest.

Spent a day exploring St Emilion and found this wonderful restaurant patio.
Good selection of wines for every taste and budget but why wouldn’t they when surrounded by vineyards.
Good meal options; staff were very prompt and courteous and English speaking which helped.

A wonderful experience at Le Bouchon restaurant in Saint-Émilion!
We shared a charcuterie board paired with a half-bottle of Château Saint-Christophe 2023: an excellent and truly delicious combination.
The ingredients were high quality, everything was excellent, and the experience was particularly enjoyable.
Special mention to the servers, who were efficient, offered great advice, and knew how to guide without being pushy. A place to remember for a simple and successful meal in the heart of Saint-Émilion!
