Angus & Bacchus sur Montpellier

An excellent choice for meat lovers! The meat is exceptional: tender, flavorful, and prepared with great care. I especially loved the carpaccio, my favorite dish—a true delight! I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back.

We ordered the platter of three 200g meats to share. The meat was cooked perfectly as requested. It was high quality. Plus, it was a busy Friday night and we were in a bit of a hurry. Antoine, who served us, was friendly and very efficient: he made sure our order went through quickly. Excellent! I highly recommend it!

A very good restaurant, but beware of the portions! As regulars at Le Paresseur, also in Montpellier and part of the same group, we found the same decor, the same furniture, and the same warm atmosphere here. The style, however, is different, with a menu that has its own distinct identity. We started with stracciatella on a "tight" pesto (just a touch of oil), finished with wasabi: a perfectly balanced combination. On the other hand, the portion was very generous. Next, a sirloin steak with an excellent pepper sauce, and a steak tartare served with fries. Again, it was delicious but very substantial. We finished with the "Three Shades of Chocolate" dessert to share: excellent! Wines are available by the glass, which I highly recommend. The service is equally impressive: a motivated team, and a big thank you to our waitress, who was clearly very knowledgeable. Our advice: go during the week to enjoy the lighter lunch menu. We were there on a Saturday at lunchtime, and it was frankly too much, even for foodies like us 😉 Rating: 4.5/5

The establishment remains true to its concept. The experience was perfectly adequate, but nothing particularly remarkable. The atmosphere is sophisticated, but lacks warmth.
