Honestly, excellent kebab! I highly recommend paying extra for the veal; that's what I did, and it was really good, one of the best in Lyon. The only downside is that the portion size might be a bit small for some, I think… Plus, there's a large dining area and the staff are friendly.

Hello, I've been a chef for 40 years, and about ten years ago, I owned two restaurants in Paris: a Turkish restaurant and a Greek fine-dining restaurant. For ten years, I managed them and prepared the kebabs myself. I've always tried to make the best kebab possible. In France, most kebabs contain about 30 to 40% veal, and the rest is often turkey. Kebabs made with only veal are very rare because veal is very expensive, and the loss during cooking can reach about 5%. That's why few restaurants make them. Furthermore, many establishments use pre-prepared, frozen, industrially produced kebab skewers. Truly homemade kebabs are unfortunately very rare. I was in Lyon for a day of work and, by chance, I went into Chef Kebab. I first ordered a kebab in bread: it was exceptional. The kebab is homemade and made with only veal. It was absolutely delicious. So good, in fact, that I ordered a second one, this time in a pita (dürüm), and it was just as excellent. I eat kebab at least once a week, and honestly, it had been years since I'd had one this good. Hats off to the chef who makes this kebab; he truly has magic hands. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. In addition to the exceptional quality of the kebab, the staff is very friendly and the service is impeccable. The people of Lyon are very lucky to have a place like this. A word of advice to the owner: keep up the good work and maintain this level of quality. It's rare and precious. Alain Blanc

I won't write a long review because I'm in a hurry 😂 But this is clearly the best kebab I've had in Lyon. The young team is friendly. Great job, well done guys, I'll be back this weekend.

An excellent place! The welcome is truly top-notch and the quality is there, especially the meat, which is superb. You can tell everything is done with care; it's a sure bet. Go without hesitation!

17/05/2026: Found the restaurant by accident while looking for a nearby cafe and it looked promising with the reviews. We ordered the spicy fried chicken as the starter and it was good, although I haven’t had this sauce on Korean fried chicken before (my partner said it reminds him of the sauce used for tteok-kkochi). The batter style is also different from usual Korean fried chicken, feels more Italian-fried style. For the main, we both ordered the chil-hyang-gye. We liked it overall but it reminded me more of Chinese soups than Korean. Also wished there was more broth, we thought it would be similar amount to usual Korean soup dishes, and it was too salty. There were microgreens on top as well. We got the bingsu and soy tiramisu for dessert. The bingsu fell a little flat as the red bean used is the drier one typically use for other desserts and the shaved ice isn’t that milky. The tiramisu was so good! It didn’t have any injeolmi taste but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure if there is much difference from the regular tiramisu that is on the menu apart from the powder on top. Overall, enjoyed the meal as a little break from back to back heavier French food and it felt more nutritious. Wouldn’t call the dishes authentically Korean but I can see how it would work for the taste palettes in the region.
15/05/2026: Although it's advertised as a Korean restaurant, the food strangely tasted like the kind of Korean food you'd find in Taiwan. The grilled meat was pretty good, but the mango shaved ice was just okay. I can understand that, considering it uses European mangoes, haha.
