Having gone to this restaurant every year, I found it sad, and the staff different than usual. The owner barely spoke to us; it was really different!

If you're going for the view, why not! But otherwise, very disappointing. An astronomical price for truly mediocre quality, as well as a very poor presentation. The prawn salad on the menu? Get ready to use a magnifying glass to find the prawns 😅, and frankly, the presentation of the fish... the taste wasn't really there either... we expected much better and were extremely disappointed. The restaurant's atmosphere is dated. The staff is very friendly, no complaints about the service. It's really the quality of the meal that's the problem. It's a shame, this restaurant's reputation is truly undeserved, a real tourist trap 😅

An excellent birthday evening at this Calais establishment. The setting overlooking the beach with a sea view is magnificent. It was flawless from aperitif to dessert, with high-quality ingredients. The beef fillet was perfect, and the cakes were exceptional. (We tried the "Calais," the brownie, and the mille-feuille). I also commend the entire team (from the kitchen to the service) for their professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness.

Beyond the stunning panoramic setting, Aquar’aile offered us a truly wonderful culinary experience; the ambiance and service were remarkable. And the food and presentation were absolutely delicious. Our dog was welcome, which was a significant plus. The owner is very attentive to his customers and genuinely enjoys getting to know those who have chosen his haven of delights. We will definitely be back at the next opportunity.

I've been coming to Calais regularly for 40 years. Throughout all these years, I've often heard about this incredible and unique restaurant, especially because of its exceptional location at the very top of an apartment building. Today, I finally had the opportunity to discover it with my wife and in-laws… and it was truly an event and an impressive experience! A wonderful day, with a warm welcome and professional, attentive, and friendly service. On the plates: vibrant colors, delicious flavors, and high-quality fresh ingredients, presented with particularly original and elegant touches. It all began with an aperitif, delicate amuse-bouches accompanied by an extraordinary baguette, followed by the starters, the main course, and desserts. For my part, I finished with three excellent local cheeses, paired with a very good wine, before coffee and petits fours. And what can I say about the wine list? Impressive! The decor is superb, the atmosphere very pleasant, and above all… what a view! An absolutely magnificent panorama that makes the experience even more special. From the welcome to the last bites, everything was perfect. Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful moment and this delightful discovery after so many years spent in Calais. Perfect welcome, excellent cuisine, a small whisky tasting with the owner, and an exceptional view – I highly recommend it.

The welcome, cleanliness, and setting were excellent! A breathtaking view. Relaxation and serenity. This place is magical, and I've never eaten such good oysters as here. Even in Cancale, they have nothing on you! 😂 However, and this is for the owner: your "Penne rigate with tomato, olive, and chorizo ​​for 24 euros" is an absolute rip-off! (The sauce was bland, thin, and completely tasteless.) I swear, I could make better in 10 minutes flat, stopwatch in hand, with a store-bought sauce from Aldi! It's a real shame. So go ahead, but whatever you do, don't order that plate of pasta, which must cost them €1.50 at cost.

Lovely welcome, good food, beautiful view. It's a shame the gentleman in the pink shirt took our money when we gave him our gift voucher. We were rushed through it!
