Impressive Roman and Gallo-Roman world... after so many centuries have passed, their presence is still here near us, the source of our civilization.

Like the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, it's really, really nice. You can visit it by taking the little train next to it. There's a small park nearby where you can cool off. Saintes is a great city to visit.

A little restoration would be necessary and it's a shame it's no longer in its original location.

Le P'tit Bacchus

02/09/2026: I gave it 5/5, everything was top-notch: the welcome, the food made with fresh ingredients and just like before, generous portions for big eaters, the presentation of the dishes was excellent 👍, and the waitresses were very dedicated even if you haven't made a reservation. Keep up the good work, it's great! 👌
