Arepado sur Lyon

A very good little hole-in-the-wall. Not much space, but the food is excellent.

The food is delicious, and the empanadas are especially amazing—the meat just melts in your mouth! The prices are unbeatable in the Lyon region and by far. See you later! 😁

Of all the restaurants in Lyon, this is the arepa that most closely resembles the ones we eat in Colombia/Venezuela! A very good experience, although the place is small and lacks atmosphere, but the service and food are excellent!

They offer gluten-free empanadas and arepas! They don't guarantee 100% gluten-free (cross-contamination), but I'm celiac and I had no problems 😁 I highly recommend them!

A great find! Delicious, inexpensive, and simple dishes. I had a cheese empanada with a small pepper sauce and an arepa mulata (avocado, plantain, and beans). I used the leftover sauce from the empanada for extra flavor. I also tried the cane sugar lemonade. Quite surprising but very refreshing. My friend had a homemade Nutella dessert, which was pretty good, although a bit too sweet for my taste. The dining room is small and can be noisy at times, but the service is quick and friendly! I'll definitely be back!
