02/07/2026: We‘ve been traveling throughout France for about two weeks, had various fancy-ish dinners. This one really stood out. Absolutely loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. Everything really down to earth and just very nice and welcoming. Of all the „Michelin Bib Gourmand’s“ we’ve been to this was the most fine dining (just without the overly fancy). Heavily recommend.

02/07/2026: A magnificent meal from start to finish. Perfectly cooked dishes with remarkable sauces. Special mention for the lamb sweetbreads. A very original and indulgent dessert: roasted apricots with lavender and Breton shortbread. Attentive service.

16/04/2026: An authentic restaurant with cuisine that's as rich in flavor as it is in quantity! A true culinary journey. This is my second visit, and I'm still just as impressed. Menus are available for both lunch and dinner, so it's excellent value for money.

This traditional Lyonnais restaurant serves delicious local cuisine in a charming, intimate setting. The place is quite small and fills up quickly, so making a reservation is definitely recommended. One of the things I appreciated most was the value for money. They offer set menus for around €30, which is very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the generous portion sizes. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. My favorite dishes were the œufs en meurette, the steak tartare, and the chocolate cake. The steak tartare was outstanding—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The steak itself was enjoyable and cooked as requested, although it was a little chewier and less tender than I had hoped. On the other hand, the fries were absolutely fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. To finish, the chocolate cake was the perfect ending to a great dining experience. Overall, A Ma Vigne delivers exactly what you want from a traditional Lyonnais bouchon: authentic food, generous portions, excellent value, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lyon.

09/06/2026: A delicious chef's terrine, andouillette gratin 😋, cervelle de canuts (a cheese spread), and a complimentary digestif. A very good Lyonnais bouchon (traditional Lyonnais restaurant). I highly recommend it. The welcome was top-notch; coming from the north, we weren't disappointed. We'll be back! 😊

26/02/2026: We came for my wife's birthday, and here's our review. Getting there via the parking lot wasn't the easiest due to construction. The place is very pretty, the decor is nice, and the view is perfect. Special mention also goes to the waitress who was very friendly and kept her service lively. Our disappointment was with the food... we enjoy going to restaurants, and for the price, we were left wanting more. Aside from the meat dish, the rest lacked variety, quantity, and flavor. The accompanying drinks were quite good. The bread was very tasty.

We enjoyed a delicious meal, with a selection of appetizers on a platter, flavorful main courses, and a special mention for the excellent floating island dessert.
