Excellent value for money (€15.50 for lunch on weekdays!). Yes, the dining room and terrace are small, but it's a city center restaurant, nothing unusual. The food is fresh and good, and the manager is very friendly. I'll be back.

C'est le meilleur restaurant que je connaissaise j'habite a plus d'une heure de route mais la cuisine est tellement bonne que je suis capable de venir a Besançon juste pour ce restaurant ♡ Vraiment n'écoutez pas les commentaires défavorable juste parce que "la patronne est désagréable" elle est juste honnête les personnes mécontentes le sont juste car il ce fond redresser sur leur mauvais comportement et ne l'assume pas.. La patronne est adorable si vous vous montrez respectueux. (Oui la politesse c'est a double sens ça me paraît logique 🤦‍♀️) Le cuisinier lui est un vrai chef c'est a lui que l'on doit ces sushi succulent !

Honestly, a really great place. All-you-can-eat buffet with a super varied selection of sushi, but not only that, there are plenty of other Japanese things to try too. Lunch for under €20 including drinks and unlimited refills – I don't know of any other place around here that does that. Well located, right in the center, easy to find. The staff is really friendly, which is a nice change. The place is small, but that makes it quite cozy and you feel right at home. We'll definitely be back.

It's simple: this is my absolute favorite restaurant! The welcome is always fantastic, consistently warm, and genuinely pleasant. The dishes are excellent and, above all, very generous; you'll definitely leave satisfied. The real bonus is that even arriving late, at 10 pm, the service remains top-notch and always with a smile. I recommend it 100%!

Yes, the owner/waitress isn't very friendly, BUT she's very kind and helpful, once you get to know her, maybe... The sushi is very good, there's a decent selection, it's fresh and made to order. The restaurant could have a nicer, warmer decor. In short, try it, be nice, and it's great.

This is an excellent place for an all-you-can-eat buffet; I eat there very often! The welcome is indeed a bit unusual at first, but I've come to feel very welcome over time. The restaurant has reopened after several months of closure, so take advantage of it! There's both terrace and indoor seating available. The restaurant is located on a lively street, perfect for grabbing a drink afterwards.

We can't recommend a better restaurant; the lady at the reception was lovely and smiling, the food was delicious, and the place was quiet. If you're hesitating, go for it!!

21/05/2026: We come here at least once a month and often with our child. An old restaurant (I was a young child when it opened!!), which has a nice Japanese decor with cheesy music. It is on a side street too so on warmer days they open the windows which is nice. The sushi is very good, their brochettes are excellent, and surprisingly their ramen (which isn't really their speciality) is delicious and not expensive (take in mind the place has multiple ramen places surrounding it). I read about the cold service here, for me it's the charm, there is a very friendly person who cuts the fish when you come in, an older man who doesn't smile nor speak much who serves you (I saw him smile once, I did!), a lady who is extremely friendly but isn't there often, and the owner who is very nice and tolerant also with our child who can run wild sometimes after eating. My single gripe is it can be pricey for some things you order. This is our go to place for sushi, Roquette has so much choice for Asian cuisine, this place is one of the first and still one of the best.
