I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant during my visit to Montpellier.
The place is truly beautiful and peaceful, and it also has an outdoor terrace where I sat and ate.
The waitresses were incredibly friendly.
The dishes and desserts were also delicious and beautifully presented; I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
The prices weren't too high either, so it offered good value for money.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is seriously home-style, with a real homey feel. The service is friendly, and the waitress, Celia (or someone else), I think, is welcoming and smiling.
The beer is good, and the terrace, which I love, is bathed in sunshine. The tables and chairs are made of wood… a lovely terrace in the summer. The interior of the Babote Tower, dating back to the 15th century or earlier, creates a warm, slightly medieval, convivial, and romantic atmosphere.
Special mention for the Thai chicken wings, which are super crispy 🥰

A delightful discovery: this bar and restaurant nestled in the heart of Babote Square. The welcome was very friendly, and the food was delicious. They have a great selection of homemade punch cocktails, which are truly excellent and original. The setting is charming with its wooden tables and chairs, but be aware that some are broken!

My go-to spot in Montpellier
In the evening, the black pepper fish is a must-try that you shouldn't miss. Like all the dishes on the menu, it's wonderfully prepared. Add to that a super helpful team and a unique setting, and you have a perfect evening.

Good drinks and extensive food menu, set in a lovely environment. However the service was very slow and very difficult to get the attention of the waitress. We asked for the menu back after our first drink yet had to sit there for 30 minutes waiting for service, and ultimately decided to leave without ordering another drink.
