The hotel is well-located and easily accessible. Excellent value for money. The staff were very welcoming, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. I would kindly suggest to the chef that they remove the apple tart from the menu. The pastry was half-cooked and the apples were burnt, but they did offer a goodwill gesture at the checkout. Overall, a very positive experience. I recommend it for a short stay.

Sufficient for a one-night stay; if you're traveling with a pet, it's fine, but you'd need a larger room. The basic room is very small. The best part is that you can have breakfast in the restaurant with your dog so you don't have to leave him alone; the breakfast is very complete.

Le Central

02/01/2026: A fast-food factory...for tourists in a hurry. You sit down, order, eat, and leave...no aperitif or wine offered...no smiles, you quickly feel like you're in the way...unfriendly staff, but the food was good...clean restrooms
24/12/2025: An unplanned stop, the Basque chicken special of the day caught our eye! The welcome was simple and neutral, but once we smiled, the conversation flowed! The dish was a generous portion and very tasty, simple and satisfying. The dessert, of course, lived up to the hype, and the waitress wasn't exaggerating about how delicious it was! The restrooms were clean, in my opinion. Simplicity is key.

Chocolatier cazenave

05/12/2025: Fine chocolates, marron glacés... Quality at a quality price.
03/12/2025: Less than an hour before closing time, and with the place almost full, they found us a table and provided excellent service. They understand Basque and Spanish without any problem. We ordered the house special hot chocolate, which they prepare with a foam that must be a bit of whipped cream. They serve a small pitcher of extra hot chocolate to fill the cups, a small bowl of whipped cream, and a pitcher and glasses of water. Fantastic! But the best part was the flavor—not overly sweet, with that bitterness of pure cocoa. I really enjoyed it, and it didn't feel heavy like some other hot chocolates I usually have. A great choice! We also had Basque cake and some very good croissants. The place is iconic, not very big, but special. Good value for money ✔️ It's also a shop and sells a variety of the world's best cocoa beans in bars and by weight.
