A truly beautiful chocolate factory. The chocolate bars are exquisite and hand-wrapped right in the shop. The quality is exceptional, bordering on perfection. You can enjoy a frothy cup of hot chocolate with a delicious brioche on-site. The staff is very friendly.

If the prices were more affordable, I'd give it 5 stars. I agree with previous comments that the foamed cocoa is no different from regular hot chocolate, and the thick chocolate is served in an espresso cup—very little. It's a very pretty and picturesque place...

We had the house hot chocolate and it was delicious; you can tell the chocolate is high quality. I would consider it a bit pricey, but they brought us three generous cups along with a pitcher for seconds, which we used to fill almost two more cups, so I didn't find it excessively expensive. I think it's worth going even if it's a tad pricey, as the experience is lovely and enjoyable.

It's good, but the chocolate is very runny and tastes like Cacaolat; maybe that's just a tradition. It's still good, though.

The chocolate is very good, very friendly and the cup service and presentation are delicate and elegant. Being so popular makes it a bit noisy.

20/03/2026: Excellent value for money, quiet location. Good and plentiful breakfast. Easy to find, its location south of Bayonne allows you to head towards Spain without being held up by morning traffic!
15/03/2026: Overall, I had a good stay. The room was generally pleasant. A minor point for improvement: the shower head could be checked, and adding a shower curtain would be helpful to prevent splashes in the bathroom. Thank you to Lola for her warm welcome and understanding at reception.
