Besides its well-deserved long history, it has many positive aspects worth mentioning. The two most outstanding are the quality of the chocolate and the friendliness of the staff. Also noteworthy is the variety and the neat arrangement of the products. And the location, which offers a striking contrast: on the one hand, its discreet setting under the arches of that section of the street, and on the other hand, the brightness and modernity of the interior. I discovered this chocolatier three years ago, and whenever I'm in Bayonne, I treat myself to a box of pralines. As a lover of fine chocolates, I find them extraordinary. The true taste of chocolate, not overly sweet. I'm a big fan of this treat and used to find my bliss in my region of eastern France. But Cazenave brings me real joy, and they're my favorites. A must-visit spot in Baiona. The hot chocolate is very unique, with a strong cocoa flavor, and the foam is something I'd never tasted before. I'm not giving it 5 stars because the price seemed quite exorbitant (€7.80 per cup), and I honestly expected the toast to be much better.

Nestled under the arcades, its Art Deco style boasts two magnificent glass roofs where the floral decorations rival the passion for chocolate that the staff exudes. Attentive and knowledgeable about their delicious products, I was able to savor an excellent cinnamon chocolate. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
