A select place to enjoy good chocolate

The traditional hot chocolate was delicious. Anyone who says it's just hot chocolate has the palate of a child. That said, I do think 8 euros is a bit pricey for the hot chocolate, but it's a generous portion, with cream to add to it and an extra small pot of hot chocolate. The croissants and toast weren't anything special. They were okay, but you'd be much better off buying them from a local bakery. The service was adequate. Friendly, but that's about it. To use the restroom, you have to ask them to open the door for you because the entrance is on the street. You have to go up one floor, and there are some nice stairs. For me, it was a lovely experience considering it's the chocolate street in the chocolate city, but you're definitely paying for the touristy stuff in that price.

We ordered an espresso and a cup of hot chocolate with foam, and it tasted like pure cocoa—delicious. They serve a small bowl of cream and a little pitcher for more hot chocolate, so it's two cups, even though the price might seem high.

We had three homemade hot chocolates 🍫, they were absolutely delicious 🏠 with the toast, which was also excellent and wonderful 😋. Besides its well-deserved long history, it has many positive aspects worth mentioning. The two most outstanding are the quality of the chocolate and the friendliness of the staff. Also noteworthy is the variety and the neat arrangement of the products. And the location, which offers a striking contrast: on the one hand, its discreet setting under the arches of that section of the street, and on the other hand, the brightness and modernity of the interior. I discovered this chocolatier three years ago, and whenever I'm in Bayonne, I treat myself to a box of pralines. As a lover of fine chocolates, I find them extraordinary. The true taste of chocolate, not overly sweet. I'm a big fan of this treat and used to find my bliss in my region of eastern France. But Cazenave brings me real joy, and they're my favorites. Congratulations!

A must-visit spot in Baiona. The hot chocolate is very unique, with a strong cocoa flavor, and the foam is something I'd never tasted before. I'm not giving it 5 stars because the price seemed quite exorbitant (€7.80 per cup), and I honestly expected the toast to be much better.
