Atelier Maitre Albert sur Paris

Third visit to this house. Rather satisfied when leaving our dinner. We still regret the cooking of the rack of lamb not respected and the lukewarm velouté....(served in a large soup bowl, which should not help). Pleasant service and a very quiet atmosphere.

Warm environment. Well-cooked dishes and choice of side dishes that are out of the ordinary (delicious mushroom-spinach gratin). Quality welcome and guaranteed charm with the majestic fireplace!

Went there for a corporate event. The setting is amazing with a fireplace and a very noce open grill. The set menu was an artichoke soup and a veal roast. The soup was OK, I just hate when you market a dish as truffle artichoke soup and then you go searching for that truffle taste which is no where to be found. The veal roast was cooked to perfection. It lacked seasoning though and the jus was runny and missing the bold flavours you expect from a veal jus. Will I come back? Maybe, probably not.

Given the comments, my husband wanted to celebrate my 50th birthday there. We took the tasting menu...disappointing, ridiculous portions, and minimalist explanation of the dishes by the apparently overwhelmed staff. God knows we did Big Houses, but I expected much better, we were installed near the entrance and although it was behind the fireplace, there was a draft and the room was too noisy. Too bad, really a shame, perhaps we should have taken a “classic” rotisserie.

Typical French cuisine done well which was expected. When you enter you realize that the place is divided into two: the first room which is a wine cellar and which can be seen from the outside due to the large window and the second room which is the real room with part of the open kitchen. view. The environment is beautiful with a working fireplace, (perhaps there was a bit of smoke) soft lights, minimal mice en place and elegant tables that give a contemporary touch. The abundant mains, cooked on a spit, are their strong point, the quality is home-made and it shows.

Very good dishes, an impressive choice of wines, a superb setting, a cozy atmosphere and attentive service. A very good evening with friends!

Everything to please! Delicate cuisine, atmosphere and service. A beautiful rotisserie, but not only that. With a soft fire in the hearth. We really enjoyed it. Treat yourself at lunchtime with a softer menu
