A very nice space with several zones. The premises are very clean and the staff are friendly. A nice touch was the loan of a wheelchair for Grandma.

One of the great aquariums of the world.
However, there think they should advertise that a major hall is closed presently. This was very disappointing.
It’s a huge complex and needs half a day **at least** to see it all.
There is a very strong focus on education and one of the halls (Océanautes) is absolutely dedicated to educating children at primary school level. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a museum or wildlife centre as laser-focused on education.
It is apparently very busy much of the day but if you get a two-day pass (Océan Pass) you can go in late on (say 4pm) and there are very few people there.
One disappointment was the lack of English (or any foreign language books) for sale in the large shop: this surely is a missed commercial opportunity.

A little disappointed.
One of the pavilions was closed, and we knew it. I'd say that apart from the Caribbean pavilion (which had just been renovated), the rest was just average. It felt like there were more interactive discovery "games" than actual aquariums. However, the Caribbean pavilion is magnificent. But it's still very expensive for four people. And the signage is quite poor; it's easy to get lost when you're outside.

Magnificent, magical! Be warned, it gets very crowded, so go early or at 1 p.m.
I spent two hours there. Avoid it for young children as it's too long; it's fun at first, then they start crying.

I really enjoyed my time at Oceanopolis.
While there are some slightly challenging parts for very young children, the educational aspect is still there and relatively accessible for most people.
There are magnificent specimens to observe and wonderful experiments to discover.

A wonderful day at Oceanopolis. A perfect place for children, kid-friendly and with an emphasis on protecting the sea, oceans, and coastline.
The only downside is that smoking is allowed in the open-air areas of the museum, which is regrettable in a place that attracts so many young visitors (it sets a bad example for children, etc.) and given the environmental impact of all those cigarette butts. Many museums have open-air areas where smoking is not permitted (Air and Space Museum, Vatican Museums, etc.).

Nice, but one of the three main parts is closed at the same price - oh well.... 🤔

A superb visit with beautiful aquariums; the sharks and all the other species are accessible.
The signs and explanations describing the species are clearly visible.
The otter enclosure is also great! A lovely water park; we had a wonderful time.

+ Beautiful exhibits. Small play things placed round the area to keep the kids occupied.
+ Seating and elevator available.
- Loads of people.
- Could be more signs about the fishes by the aquarium. There was a small screens by most larger aquariums, but they were often occupied or blocked by people watching the fish.
