Atomic Cat Bar sur Paris

Great bar, great atmosphere, great music and great decor!!

Since I've been in Paris, this is one of the only bars where I've found people who are both friendly and down-to-earth, and where the DJ blew us away with such amazing music that we wanted to dance endlessly!

The drinks are priced like in Paris, so it's not the place to come for a chat... but the atmosphere is great (there was even a concert when I was there) and the bartender is pretty cool (which is the main thing, after all). Just a heads-up, don't expect a My Little Pony/Unicorn vibe... it's not the place for that 😄

I gave a fair 5/5 for the service and the behaviour of the employees in Atomic Cat. But this is not the point I am trying to make. I was searching for a place authentically for gothic or new wave lovers, like myself, and this bar/club is quite unfortunately cited as one of the recommended places in Paris. To whoever out there, wondering if you will find the right ambience in Atomic Cat as a sucker for gothic rock and new wave, guys it is NOT EVEN CLOSE. Do not, for the God's shake, devote one parisian night, to make your way to this venue, because what you will get is nothing exceeding an average mainstream low-profile club night and people believing they know how to Dj this genre, when they actually DON'T. I am referring to the New Wave & Gothic rock nights exclusively. I am not in a position to express an opinion on their other events.
