Everything was absolutely perfect. The food, the servers, the place. Nothing to complain about. To be clear, I NEVER leave reviews for places I go, so that tells you how much I enjoyed my time. Go without hesitation!

Tourists, we called at 8 pm, but there were no tables available. The gentleman called me back 5 minutes later to say they had found a solution to accommodate us! The pizzas were absolutely delicious, cooked in a wood-fired oven, and the servers were lovely and attentive to their customers! You can really go there without hesitation!

We stumbled upon this restaurant and, given the heat, we were seated on the open terrace, but we politely asked to move without any problem. The food was very good and the service was quick, pleasant, and friendly.

29/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at L'effet mer in Houlgate! The setting is charming, both welcoming and elegant. We had the fish and chips, which was generous and perfectly crispy, and my daughter chose the salmon tagliatelle, which was tender and delicious. Fresh ingredients, pleasant and attentive service. A real gem, we highly recommend it and will gladly return.
