Au boeuf sur Soufflenheim

Absolutely wonderful. This isn't our first visit, and certainly not our last.

We had a very good meal and the food was really good. It's a shame, however, that the service wasn't up to par. The waitress wasn't very smiley or particularly friendly. We ordered spaetzle, but received fries. Regarding the children's dessert, we ordered a scoop of chocolate ice cream with whipped cream, as indicated on the menu. We received a scoop of ice cream with whipped cream, accompanied by a small bowl of candy, which was actually a different dessert on the menu (the children's dessert). Thinking the candy was just a little something extra, we didn't say anything. It was only when we looked at the bill that we noticed this dessert had been charged €1.50 more than the one we had ordered. We pointed out the error and the waitress simply apologized, without offering any correction or compensation. It's a real shame, because we had a very good meal.

Great sauerkraut. The dishes are hearty and very good. A top experience, recommended by a local for holidaymakers like us. The girls who serve are very friendly.

I had a very good meal. I agree with the positive comments. Vegetarian options are available, but the restaurant is called Au Boeuf...

My partner and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Without a reservation, we were able to get a table on the terrace for lunch, which was shaded by parasols. The service was dynamic, always friendly, and efficient. The dishes were high quality, and the waitresses gave us excellent recommendations. We had a mini vol-au-vent as a starter—delicious! I had kidneys with spaetzle, and my wife had a duck breast salad—both excellent! Kudos to the kitchen! For dessert, we had a Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce), beautifully presented and served with chocolate sauce, which was the perfect ending to the meal. This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise; we will definitely return and highly recommend it!

PERFECT! That's how I'll begin my review. A courteous and polite welcome, both on the phone and in person. Then came the order, which arrived with a delicious little welcome salad that immediately made our mouths water... followed by succulent, generous, and high-quality dishes—in short, a success! Thank you for the culinary journey to Alsace for us Normans... If you're ever in this lovely little village, make a stop; it's truly worth it.

Even six years after my first review: Great restaurant. I highly recommend it.

Great experience. The service was excellent. I recommend it. One small criticism: we didn't even have time to drink our aperitif before the main course was served. That's a shame. Please allow more time.

Great location, the food is typical of the region and excellent. They have the best vol-au-vent in Alsace! And the Rognons are divine. A must-try!
