A lovely evening spent on the terrace. We received a tarte flambée as an aperitif before our drinks (we didn't find the concept very logical). My friend ordered a gratinée tarte flambée for her main course. It was soggy, heavy, and mushy... not particularly good in the end. My gourmet salad, on the other hand, was excellent, as was the duck breast for the third person. The desserts: strawberries, absolutely delicious!

The food is truly superb! The steak tartare is prepared right in front of the guests, which is a real treat to watch. The service is a bit taciturn—at least towards non-regulars, which we found somewhat disappointing. We also didn't receive a daily special recommendation, and the food didn't arrive for both of us at the same time, so one of us had to eat alone. Perhaps it was due to the rather oppressive temperatures…we don't know for sure. Overall, we would have preferred smaller portions and friendlier service. Nevertheless, highly recommended.

Good food, no frills, simple and effective!
However, it seems the "Chef" has some issues with women!
We have repeatedly witnessed sexist and highly inappropriate comments directed at the staff (both waiters and kitchen staff). When you're a Head Chef, you have a duty to set an example and, above all, respect your colleagues—whether they are men or women!
I won't repeat the words or expressions used by this individual, but it's unworthy of a Chef!
It's 2026, and it's beyond unacceptable that this kind of behavior still exists.

A little disappointed by what I consider the best vol-au-vent in Alsace. For me, it wasn't the best; there was hardly any meat. It was mostly cubed chicken quenelles and mushrooms. I really regretted my choice. However, the daily special was excellent.

First time here and what a pleasant surprise! Beef tartare prepared right in front of us, hanger steak with shallots, and delicious homemade desserts. Everything was excellent! Top-notch service 👍... We'll definitely be back!

A very good, traditional restaurant. The dishes are generous and quite elaborate. There were some issues with the service; it felt like they were understaffed on Saturday lunchtimes.

Excellent food, great terrace, professional staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our rib-eye steaks and decided to get some vol-au-vents to go, which were excellent and very generously portioned. A real treat for the taste buds! It would be great if they offered other takeaway dishes. A very good chef, an address to remember. It's a shame they don't have a branch in Vendenheim.
