A pleasant moment in this small restaurant, not a long menu [only Alsatian dishes]. Slight digestive issues in the evening (something didn't agree with my stomach). A minor point about the menu:
it says "first carafe of water" (oops, why the "x"?)
"free" (with the "e" it's better!).
A real gem in Oberbronn!
What a wonderful discovery Le Bœuf Noir is! This village restaurant took me right back to my childhood. The atmosphere is warm and authentic: everyone speaks Alsatian, knows each other, and greets you with a big "Salü!" and a smile. You immediately feel right at home.
The food is a delight! Our daughter loved the fleischnackas so much that I gave her my main course and opted for the nuggets (and I have no regrets; it's so nice when your children discover and develop a taste for local specialties).
A big thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience and this return to our roots in the Bas-Rhin region. We will definitely be back!
We ate at this restaurant and were warmly welcomed by the very kind owners. The meal was delicious and very affordable. We thank them for organizing and surprising our daughter's birthday party! I highly recommend it!
So I would simply say that it was a superb culinary and human discovery. I didn't like chestnuts until I tried this dish, "Fleischnecke with chestnuts, Oberbronn style."
The owner doesn't make fun of your pronunciation but gives you a smile in addition to delighting you with her food. My advice: stop by to eat, see some storks, and discover a beautiful little village.
