Great location and view in Petit France. However again very poor service. The waiters are walking around aimlessly. We ordered some drinks and the waiter after twenty minutes later replied and confessed that he totally forgot about our order. Any how we managed to enjoy the atmosphere.

Excellent experience at Au Petit Bois Vert (one of the few restaurants open on Sunday evenings in Strasbourg)!
We were served very quickly, all our requests for adjustments were accommodated, the staff were very pleasant, and on top of that, the food was delicious!!
I highly recommend it 😉

Refined Alsatian dishes, quality ingredients, flavorful, precise, and indulgent without being heavy, simplicity elevated. The best spaetzle gratin I've had in a long time, right down to the salad dressing and the tarte flambée. Even a wine lover will find something to enjoy on the limited but high-quality wine list (Loew, Deiss, etc.). The waiter was attentive, offered good advice, and was very relaxed.

We dropped by spontaneously on Valentine's Day and received a very warm welcome. The atmosphere was incredibly pleasant; busy yet relaxed, rustic, and cheerful.
The decor has its own unique charm. Typical Alsatian with an artsy twist.
Very friendly service.
The menu isn't huge, but it's just right to offer something for everyone. I had the classic tarte flambée with Munster cheese. Delicious. My companions both had the truffle chicken; they felt the portion was a bit small for the price, but still very tasty.
Overall, I would rate the evening as a great success. However, those sensitive to smells might want to reconsider. The restaurant smells strongly of Munster cheese! :-)

Excellent meals every time we go.
The dishes are fresh, and you can taste the difference, all at a reasonable price.
The staff are welcoming and incredibly friendly. An Alsatian restaurant that isn't a tourist trap in Petite France. Definitely worth a try.
