Au Bois Vert sur Strasbourg

I ordered choucroute with glass of white wine and kougelholf ice cream. Choucroute was nice. It was a mild taste and light more than expected. Mustard was a good accent. Also good match with white wine. For Kougelholf, I expected kind of pound cakes, but the staff kindly explained me that it is an ice cream with rhum. I was also good.

We had dinner on a Saturday evening having reserved 2 days before (a feat for Strasbourg during the Christmas period) Nice little restaurant in Little France close to the water. Friendly and welcoming staff, tasty and plentiful dishes. Excellent Pinot Noir pitcher wine. Everything is homemade, go there with your eyes closed for typical Strasbourg dishes. Relaxed atmosphere guaranteed

At first glance it looks like a lot of other restaurants but clearly that's not the case it's efficient and the price for the plate is really correct at least for the ham which even a good eater would have difficulty At the top!

Cozy atmosphere, “home” cuisine. The staff is very welcoming. The dishes are well cooked. We had wild boar and ham. Everything was very good. A nice surprise.

We loved it, we ate very well and the service was very good, the tarte flambee and the spaeztles did not come in much quantity but they were filling and the accompanying salad, the sauce was very delicious and the dessert was the nutella and banana pizza which also had the flambé option. Highly recommended!

We arrived at lunchtime without a table reservation and we weren't sure if they could give us a table, but luckily a table for two people just became available. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. The red wine we ordered had a very pleasant velvety taste and was served at the right temperature. We ordered traditional dishes, we wanted to try the cuisine here and I have to say that it was perfect both in taste and texture, thank you very much. Gourmand coffee is also perfect. I recommend it to everyone. Try it. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone, it's worth a visit, you don't find such staff and such cuisine everywhere. Once again, very nicely.
