On this Sunday, December 13, 2022, to my great surprise this evening with my son at the restaurant at the Brive office for the first time, I finally felt like a real customer at the restaurant. It's been more than 10 years since I wanted to go to gastro or traditional restaurants in Brive because of no consideration or even a mockery of the products offered compared to the quality of the products sold and not to mention the quality of the service in the dining room, just to make a round of turnover for the company and which made me go to fast food restaurants. All of this disappointed me a lot. Indeed, having come from a hotel school 30 years ago and having frequented and worked in large restaurants and hotels of large international and even starred chains, this evening this restaurant gave me the desire to return to the restaurant in Brive. Since the master Kanter in Brive has been closed, I have not found this feeling of being a customer. For this Sunday evening, I was delighted by this restaurant. The service was truly dynamic and professional, attentive to customers, and the quality of the à la carte products matched the prices offered and were justifiable. The rib-eye steak (marbled quality) melted in the mouth, followed by a gourmet Irish coffee, was a real treat. This restaurant is pleasant in its simplicity, suitable for a couple, family, solo, a work meal, with friends or colleagues, and even for a date, why not. Today, I wanted to have a coffee in Brive. Since it was Christmas Day, it wasn't easy to find an open bar. I wasn't disappointed to go to Le Bureau. The atmosphere is pleasant and the coffee is excellent!

I don't usually give bad reviews (3), but we were very disappointed with the meal. We ordered the Christmas special (beef Rossini style, €18.50), which was a tiny piece of beef, gone in four bites...with a small piece of foie gras! A bit meager for the price! As for the Welsh rarebit, we struggled to find sliced ​​bread...and the burgers weren't very appealing. On the other hand, the side dishes were plentiful. This is the first time we've had a meal like this! Nevertheless, the service was very good and the welcome was warm...Let's hope it was just a one-off.
