Au Bureau sur Salon-De-Provence

15/10/2026: Having been a regular at the L'Autrefois restaurant in Aix-en-Provence, where the manager is so pleasant and says a word to every table, and the two waitresses are also extremely friendly, I was disappointed. My first time in Salon-de-Provence was disappointing. One waitress was cold, another practically invisible, just clearing two plates, and the gentleman was the same. The recipes were almost identical, but I found the presentation much less inviting. The leeks lacked sauce, the dishes weren't very hot, and the second carafe of water, on the other hand, was lukewarm. I also found the desserts less fresh and appealing. It just goes to show how important the chef is, even for a similar restaurant. The proximity of the neighbors at the tables, extremely close together, was also very bothersome, while on the other side of the buffet, the dining room was practically empty. I would have almost preferred to eat outside.
