A big thumbs up to Alicia, Greg, and Valentin for their kindness and professionalism! It's always a pleasure to go to Le Calice! The setting is idyllic and the food is high quality at very affordable prices.

I had never been to Le Chalice, even though I live in Calais. Since the change of ownership, we wanted to try it. Pleasantly surprised! A varied menu with options to suit different dietary needs. The staff are so kind! We will be back.

A fantastic welcome! Impeccable service! The meal was excellent, and the fries were amazing... and the mussels! A real treat! To finish, a great coffee! I highly recommend it to everyone.

We went there at the beginning of August, and my dish was bland and tasteless. There was no communication between the servers, so it was clear there was tension. My husband wanted a second course because he was hungry (and he has a good appetite), but when I ordered dessert, the server didn't ask for him, so we ended up with only one dessert and nothing for my husband. It's not up to the server to decide if my husband has the right to take another course, and I don't find that very customer-friendly. It's a shame because the back terrace is nice, but that's the only redeeming feature.

Great food, friendly staff, not expensive

The brasserie is really good, but the atmosphere between the two servers leaves something to be desired; they make comments in front of the customers, which isn't great.

We're from Belgium and the Netherlands, and we stopped at a fantastic place. The welcome was lovely and the staff very friendly. They gave us great advice as we wanted a light meal. They suggested a vegetarian platter and a charcuterie board with a nice Chablis. It was delicious 😋 Thank you! If you're ever in the area, go there!

We ordered fish and chips, the food was delicious, the fries were really good! Unfortunately, the salad wasn't completely clean, so we left it. The atmosphere was nice and the waiter was friendly. 👌🏼
