We had lunch today at Le Chaudron, the three of us. The meal was very good. The service provided by a young man and Sandra was perfect. Both were very professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

Excellent evening at this little roadside restaurant. Despite the unbeatable price (starter, main course, dessert, cheese, wine, and coffee for under €20—yes, it still exists!), the food wasn't neglected, and we ate very well and the portions were very generous. The service was also really friendly. Highly recommended.

A typical restaurant with old-fashioned decor that gives it a lot of charm. The daily menu offers excellent value (€18 for starter, main course, cheese platter, dessert, and coffee). The server is very pleasant and attentive, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. A small drawback, as is often the case, is that the children's menu remains classic (steak or nuggets and fries), but a great point for dessert: children can choose from the menu, which is very much appreciated! A lovely, friendly place to discover.

Very good address. Hearty family cuisine with quality products. Fast service and very friendly welcome. We were 2 adults and 3 children, everyone found what they were looking for.

We had a truffade and a piece of meat from the butcher's shop. Everything was perfect, the homemade desserts too. Perfect service and a family atmosphere. We recommend it.

Great welcome, excellent pâté, very good dish, a cheese platter like we don't see anymore, left at the table to serve at will, homemade dessert, rum baba, super good, really not to be missed when passing through the region, simple but effective, wine included, €18 per person extra, keep it up and thank you

08/12/2024: Very good surprise. A real inn with a friendly atmosphere, real sturdy furniture where you're not afraid to move the table. And the kitchen!!! a real treat from starter to dessert with careful presentation but without fuss.. the prices are very reasonable. Definitely we will return. Thanks to the boss for creating a friendly restaurant, with fair prices and top quality cuisine.

18/08/2024: The Brittany - Auvergne marriage works pretty well! The pancakes are very good and the service pleasant, and this view is magnificent.
18/08/2024: The savory pancakes were good although I would have appreciated more filling in the pancakes to benefit from a dish more suited to my desires. For the sweet crepes, we took the apricot crepe of the moment, it lacked caramel for my taste and the apricots were slightly dry… About the room, the service was very good. The toilets could do with cleaning as there were large cobwebs. From the outdoor terrace, the view of Volvic and the small massifs is unmissable.
