We've had lunch at Cœur de la Forêt several times. The setting is pleasant and offers a change of scenery, and the service is adequate, nothing more. But this lunchtime, we were a little disappointed by the portion sizes. The kidneys weren't cooked pink, and the slice of strawberry shortcake was very small. We ordered an aperitif, wine, cheese (all extras), etc. The least they could have done was make the dessert look good. The value for money is really lacking these days, and the welcome was rather informal. It's a shame.

We had booked for a group of seven, and upon arrival, our beautiful table on the terrace was already waiting for us. As with each of our visits, the welcome was absolutely perfect.
On the plate, the cuisine is true to form: fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The owner is a sweetheart, always attentive to ensuring we wanted for nothing. The restaurant Au cœur de la forêt succeeds in offering a refined and charming setting while maintaining a lovely simplicity and very affordable prices.
It's a real pleasure to go there; we wholeheartedly recommend it and will return again and again!

A magnificent place, nestled in the heart of the forest, straight out of a fairy tale. Family-run, the restaurant offers a set menu with several choices, including a starter, main course, and dessert.
Paris was sweltering in the heat, but here, a welcome coolness reigned supreme. We had our granddaughter with us, and everyone welcomed her as if she were part of the family.

We had a wonderful evening "in the heart of the forest." The place lives up to its name, and you feel privileged from the very first steps before reaching the restaurant. The welcome and service are attentive and refined, just like the dishes that showcase beautiful seasonal produce.
The wine selection is based on long-standing, trusted relationships, and it shows!
The value for money is excellent; everything from the ambiance to the cuisine and the service is flawless. We will gladly return soon to enjoy the terrace!

A fantastic restaurant, well hidden in the middle of the forest. The dishes are high quality, simple yet flavorful, thoughtfully prepared, using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and homemade bread. Good food without the pretentiousness. Authentic, good French cuisine, just the way we like it. The welcome is warm, the staff are lovely, and there's a real family atmosphere. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend it!
