Au Cote d'Argent sur Calais

Even though there was a minor mishap right at the beginning, I won't dwell on it, because apart from that, absolutely EVERYTHING was fantastic. The appetizer (peeled Calais lobster) was probably the best we've ever eaten (and we enjoy fine dining). The dessert selection was also exceptional. We had a wonderful window seat overlooking the sunset, and at the end, the chef himself came by to check if everything was alright. All the staff were very friendly, and the value for money was outstanding!

Covered terrace with a sea view, welcoming, warm, and beautifully decorated. Even the bathrooms look like they're on a real ship. Wonderful. As for the menu, they offer a variety of meat, fish, and cheese selections, and the desserts are like paintings. We were rushing with the family to catch the ferry, but we wanted something delicious to remember, and we chose well. Every dish is carefully prepared, tasty, and decorated to perfection. I recommend it to everyone for the atmosphere, the kindness of the lady and all the staff, and of course, every bite deserves this review, and we'll be back on our road trips between the UK and France. Really, congratulations!

What a wonderful experience! I can't often give this price, but it's absolutely worth it, and I'll gladly return for another occasion. I had a fantastic meal; from the appetizer to the main course and dessert, I was captivated by the quality and originality of the food. I loved the peaceful atmosphere and, of course, the magnificent view!

A very good experience at this seaside restaurant in Calais. The establishment is ideally located, with a beautiful sea view. We went during the Christmas holidays, so the decor was splendid and elegant, making the place very welcoming. The tables were nicely set (a small white tablecloth would be even more impressive, but it was already very good). The initial welcome was a little cold, but things improved during the service. One minor drawback: quite a wait between some courses, even though we arrived early and therefore started eating when it was still relatively empty. As for the menu, we chose two set menus at €52 per person. The smoked salmon was excellent and the portions generous. The seafood platter was average, with some pieces being very dry. For our main courses, the scallops were also very good, and the beef fillet was a little tough despite being cooked to the correct temperature. Finally, the homemade Snickers was original and also excellent. A delicious and satisfying dish that was good but could have benefited from a better presentation. Overall, good value for money, although a bit pricey considering a few minor issues, particularly the tenderness of the red meat. The wines, reasonably priced, are also very good. Worth trying!

We came in out of curiosity, passing by, and we don't regret it at all! The staff were warm and attentive, the food was high quality and delicious, and the decor was lovely... we'll definitely be back.

A very good and delicious menu; the dishes were very well seasoned and the dessert was very generous. There was a slight lack of vegetables on the plates, and the meat knife was difficult to use for the meat.

A truly beautiful place, everything was perfect from the welcome to the dessert. Highly recommended.

Excellent lunch! Sophisticated and delicious dishes. Very fresh seafood and perfectly cooked fish. The Pablova dessert was a delight!
