Excellent restaurant, well located not far from the beach, warm welcome, impeccable and friendly service, and excellent food.

Think this is best restaurant in calais. Lovely chablis premier cru also at insanely cheap price (60euro). Cannot recommend highly enough if you're in calais and need a lunch or dinner. Family friendly and right next to beach for a quick digestive walk afterwards with plenty of parking. Service super friendly too

Yesterday, Sunday, we had lunch with our family at this excellent restaurant! The service was very friendly and attentive! The owner and the servers are extremely kind and helpful! We never miss this must-visit spot when we're in Calais. The owner's little wave before we left added to the wonderful experience. The food is always perfect! Absolutely nothing to add or take away from these delicate and thoughtfully designed menus, a feast for both the eyes and the palate. A discreet elegance emanates from this restaurant, where the luxury of the setting and the dishes is never ostentatious. Lovely dinner, food was amazing and the price is right for what you get. The place is cozy. They were really kind allowing us to bring our dog. We spent a nice evening there.

We have eaten at this restaurant on a number of occasions and the food is always good. The restaurant has a nice ambience and is on the seafront with lovely sunset views. I enjoyed a delicious and generous shellfish platter for a starter. My partner had the lobster starter which he enjoyed. We both had very nice fish mains rounding off with mousse au chocolate. All in all a very nice meal and the wine was also very good. The service was very good and gracious. I don’t understand the bad reviews on service as we always find it very good.

We drove over an hour to eat at this restaurant for a special occasion. Upon arrival, we were seated without a single smile, and the service between courses was incredibly slow. We had ordered two platters and two €52 set menus with oysters as starters, but they were all full of shells! We pointed this out, and we were told it would be reported to the kitchen, and then nothing more was done! The scallops were overcooked. When we got to the till, we weren't even asked if everything was alright, for a bill that was quite substantial! I brought up the issue of all the oysters being full of shells, and the manager replied, "Yes, that's normal, the person is new in the kitchen, it will be reported," and handed me the card machine, adding that she had been informed while we were at the table! As for the crab, it was very dry! The response was, "We've never had a problem before!" How can I even begin to describe how poorly cooked the scallops were?! And the oysters were sometimes practically empty! No gesture of goodwill, no apologies! We left extremely disappointed! What a shame for such a lovely place! We won't be back!

Always a wonderful culinary experience. In a refined and warm setting with a nautical ambiance, you can enjoy delicious dishes bursting with flavor. The service is impeccable, with minimal waiting between courses. We had our wedding reception there in June 2016, and our visit this Sunday confirms our excellent choice.
