Au Doubs Bonheur sur Besancon

I have known this restaurant for a very, very long time, I went there with my friend, who lives on rue Jean Wyrsch, (self-taught) the Saint Claude district is a very very lively district) I remember a little above that it is the store of Mr. Humbert....it hurts me that no one wants to revive the neighborhood....

We came yesterday, and I loved this little restaurant. The cuisine is very good and the dishes are not too expensive. The staff is super friendly, I recommend this establishment!

It was with sadness that we learned while having lunch there this afternoon that Doubs Bonheur was going to close its doors in the coming weeks and become a pharmacy. Philippe Renard, the generous boss of this place throws in the towel after more than 10 years of good and loyal service. I discovered this restaurant while having lunch there with colleagues a little over 3 years ago, and since then, I have returned there with my family almost every time I am in Besançon, as much for the friendly atmosphere and very good family cooking. I wish this family an excellent continuation, I also heard customers express to what extent they were going to miss this emblematic place of the neighborhood.
