Au Fantassin sur Strasbourg

Waiter very friendly, speaks good German, tarte flambée as a starter, then great fillet of beef, salmon, fries, everything tasted good, hot, short waiting time, right by the river on the terrace. We were very satisfied. Price was also cheap compared to the old town around the cathedral. Gladly again. Doris oo Harald from the Black Forest.

Great experience just a stone's throw from Petite France. Very welcoming staff, magnificent terrace by the water, far from the crowds. Very reasonable prices to share a beer and a tarte flambée.

Small restaurant or bar right on the Ill. Very nice atmosphere. We had something to drink there. The prices were okay.

We stopped at this little restaurant "by the water" a little randomly. So of course, the cuisine is not 'haute French gastronomy' but that's not what we were asking for. We ate well overall and the quantities were more than sufficient: Lamb shank for my son and for me (I almost had trouble eating everything 😅!). My daughter's tarte flambée was also sufficiently filling. The desserts were quite basic (2 soft chocolates + 1 frozen nougat) but good. Our server (respect for his beautiful age 🙏!) was attentive and available. The waterfront setting is really nice and the bill was fair. In short, we had a good dinner.

You really shouldn't always take the reviews seriously. The menu we had was classic Alsatian cuisine, presented at a simple but tasty level. Service convincing. We sat by the water, which is almost unbeatable. You should give them a chance.

Super cadre au bord de l'eau, service rapide et serveur très agréable. Les plats ne sont pas exceptionnels mais ils restent très bons. C'était une super soirée, merci !

Excellent place for lunch with tables right on the river. Slightly off the beaten track so not too busy. Nice food. The flammekueche was excellent
