Au Feu de Bois sur Saint-Laurent-Sur-Saone

25/08/2026: The food was delicious, but for a Georges Blanc establishment, with prices to match, I would have appreciated a higher standard of service (a bottle of sparkling water was ordered, a bottle of still water was brought, and a complimentary mini-gazpacho was offered, but neither a savory accompaniment was provided for the aperitif nor a sweet one for the coffee). The snail ravioli appetizer was delicious, and I regretted only having three (the same number as on the à la carte menu and the set menu). Doubling the portion would have been perfectly acceptable. The frog legs were very well prepared and in a generous quantity, as was the rum baba, which was very generously soaked in rum.

21/08/2026: Great location on the banks of the Saône with a beautiful view of Mâcon and the Saint Laurent bridge. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent! We had lunch there on a Sunday and we'll definitely be back :) 👍
