I ordered frog legs, which I salted because they were very bland and swimming in butter.
My husband had the sea bass, which was very mediocre.
And don't even get me started on the presentation; it looked like school cafeteria food.
For dessert, my apricot shortbread was good, but the rum baba was dry and needed more syrup.
We weren't expecting that!

Excellent restaurant, the dishes are well-balanced and full of flavor.
The service is warm, occasionally a little haphazard, but the servers are attentive and eager to please. They gave us a very warm welcome.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful Mother's Day. The menu was excellent. The quality of the ingredients was superb; the beef fillet with "weeping tiger" sauce was outstanding. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

I booked a table for a weekday evening; it was very quiet and pleasant. The view overlooking the Saône with the sunset was magnificent. The meal was excellent, the portions generous and more than enough. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and the service was top-notch.
An ideal place for a lovely romantic dinner. A special mention for the cod aioli, which I absolutely loved!

Wonderful diner tonight at Le St Laurent. Beef Cheeks were just what you always wanted beef to taste like, fork tender, savory, fantastic gravy and mashed potatoes. Pure rapture! Profiteroles and Tiramisu were an excellent finish too. Highly recommend.

A very nice location, with a covered terrace overlooking the Saône and the heart of Mâcon. You only have to cross the bridge to get to the center of Mâcon and stroll along the pedestrian street. However, the food is a complete letdown, bland and unappetizing. It's a shame because the ingredients are there, but perhaps the chef wasn't in the kitchen today. It's disappointing for a business lunch for two; it had been years since I'd had lunch at this establishment. It's not what it used to be, I can confirm, as it was my go-to business restaurant 10 years ago. And yet, I checked, it still belongs to the same group.
