A delightful tea room not to be missed in Annecy

I enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate; the place was very peaceful and the welcome was excellent.

This is a very targeted review for just the croissant: it is incredibly good. It is very flaky, very airy, perfectly buttery, beautiful to look at and absolutely delicious. Recommended.

We've been regular customers of the Fidèle Berger bakery for several years and make a point of stopping by during each of our holidays in Annecy. We've always appreciated the quality of their products, which are generally excellent, with a wide selection of breads, pastries, and cakes. Admittedly, the prices are rather high, but until now we felt the quality was there and partly justified the price point. Unfortunately, our latest experience has left us much more hesitant. Yesterday morning, we bought a raspberry pastry to take away and were unpleasantly surprised to find a piece of paper inside. While this can happen occasionally, this kind of incident is particularly unpleasant and raises questions about the care taken in preparing the products. This discovery has clearly dampened our enthusiasm and tarnished the very positive image we had of this bakery. It's all the more disappointing because we've been loyal customers for several years and had always been satisfied until now. We hope this is an isolated incident and that the establishment will take the necessary steps to prevent it from happening again. For now, our opinion is therefore more mixed: the quality of the products remains undeniable, but this negative experience leaves us somewhat disappointed. We may return on future trips, but with more reservations than before.

Always a very warm welcome! The ice cream and lemon tarts are excellent. We burst out laughing while ordering, and the waiter was very patient and kind. Thank you! We highly recommend this place 🍦

The place to be in Annecy! What a pleasure to take a break in THE historic tea room of the city… and not in one of those (too) many concept cafes. I highly recommend a bowl of hot chocolate accompanied by one of those little chocolates sprinkled with coconut!
