Friendly service, delicious, honest food. It's funny that the kitchen is on the other side of the "street" (read: alley). The husband serves, the wife the kitchen. Limited menu (3 appetizers, 3 main courses, 3 desserts, and cheese if desired). Super nice location.

During a weekend on the French Riviera for the Lemon Festival, we were immediately drawn to this little restaurant in the narrow streets of the old village. We loved the atmosphere and style of the restaurant. The cuisine was refined and of very high quality, with a limited menu but everything homemade. It was excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable! Furthermore, the owner, who runs the restaurant single-handedly with his partner, was incredibly kind and professional! He took the time to chat with us for quite a while after our meal, which was very pleasant. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area; you won't regret it!

While strolling through the village streets during the day, the sudden urge to enjoy the medieval setting by dining at this establishment crossed my mind, taking into account its limited opening hours (dinner only) and small number of tables.
So I made a note of the place and will try to find a convenient time in my schedule, making sure to reserve a table a few days in advance.
In the meantime, its name, "The Grand Inquisitor," transports me back in time, and I can already imagine an intimate dinner there, perhaps even dressed in period costume?

We stumbled upon it completely by chance, truly, while strolling through the small village.
It's excellent. There's no other word that can describe this incredible cuisine, the ambiance, the place is magnificent (small, of course, but so comfortable).
Expect to pay around €40 for a full, high-quality menu. The menu isn't huge, but it's sufficient. From chestnut to venison, from scallops to quail, the selection is excellent. Even the desserts are well-chosen, catering to all tastes.
We'll definitely be back, especially to try the other menus offered throughout the year. (Visited in winter)
We wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you for the experience and the setting.

A superb romantic dinner in a truly unique setting: dining in a cave is an experience like no other! The place is warm, original, and perfectly suited for a romantic moment.
The meal was excellent from start to finish, with high-quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes. You can tell it's a family-run restaurant: the atmosphere is friendly, relaxed, and genuine.
Special mention goes to the manager, who is very friendly and welcoming, adding even more charm to the place.
A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend! ⭐️✨
