Plus points, they looked after our bikes very well Our room was on the fourth floor and there was no lift. Breakfast was chaotic, no one seemed to be in charge and they kept running out of food. They promised gluten-free food which turned out to be dry crackers.

Well located. Friendly welcome..but no follow-up during the stay.. hearty breakfast. cobwebs in the room..and a little noisy neighborhood..overall correct.

A l’ombre de la forteresse de Chinon, restaurant vaste, avec terrasse. Carte courte, plutôt un bon présage. Plats (du jour) moyens +, avec un poulet de bonne qualité mais juste cuit, chapelure un peu molle… Ambiance normale. Service peu souple. Mérite d’autres investigations, à la vue des autres avis.

Great spot up beside the castle but we had to check out where we were going before coming for dinner. You can get the lift from centre of town which takes you so far but a bit to navigate after that. Terrace has views of the vineyard across the road. Service very efficient although if one of you has an aperitif and one is wanting the wine bottle make sure you ask for both at the same time!! Food good if one or two dishes, notably the cheese options were a bit challenging. I would give them a miss if I went back but otherwise a venue worth visiting.

Hotel in the center of Chinon. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired (scale toilet), smell of cold tobacco. Very noisy in the evening, when tidying up the terraces. Too expensive per night, for the quality offered. No elevator.

Friendly and warm welcome. Quite correct and varied breakfast (I don't understand the negative opinions of certain customers on this subject who want "it's all about it!". While the breakfast is 11€!) Well located hotel, with ample parking nearby. Clean room. Good value for money: for €56 per night, satisfactory services. Significant provision of a fan, given the heatwave. THANKS

Beautiful establishment located in the center of Chinon. Numerous walks to discover the city and surrounding areas. Pleasant welcome. Very good value for money. Parking on Place Jeanne d'Arc.

14/11/2024: We came to this place twice. Smiling and friendly. We will come back on our next getaway to Chinon As planned we came back to have our aperitif. There have been some changes to the cafe but still welcoming. And we were lucky that its card payment center worked again for our payment. Norman family who returned to your beautiful region.
11/11/2024: Small family dinner. The welcome was pleasant, the service professional and fast. Hesitating about an aperitif, the waitress did not hesitate to offer me a snack and served me a glass (rare enough to be noted and very appreciated, thank you!). While waiting for the children's menus, the owner offered my daughters markers to keep them waiting and was friendly and accessible during the meal. On the plate, the dishes are good, try to favor homemade fries instead of frozen fries and the score will be perfect. Overall, very good value for money. I recommend this establishment.
