Marie-Paul knows how to recommend wines to complement the dishes like no one else, with a perfect mastery of pairings and a real passion for her craft. The flavors are spot-on, the combinations subtle, and the whole experience is truly memorable. An establishment that combines quality, expertise, and conviviality. 25/02/2026: A roadside diner-style restaurant at the entrance to Chinon. The decor is rather old-fashioned, but it has its charm. Quick and efficient service for a hearty and generous cuisine.

12/04/2026: A delightful discovery. Delicious dishes from appetizer to dessert. Set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €30 (excluding drinks) with a good selection. Pleasant decor. Service provided by a very pleasant young woman. Good value for money.

27/12/2025: We only tried the hotel restaurant and it was a very good experience with excellent value for money. The menu is simple, with a choice of two starters, two main courses, and two desserts. The food is unpretentious, served quickly and with a smile.

26/02/2026: Quite honestly, it's a disgrace to call this a bakery. The sandwiches are simply inedible: the bread is as dry as cardboard, tastes like it's been sitting in the fridge for days, and the ham is so questionable it almost burns your tongue. You seriously wonder how long all this has been sitting in the display case. As for the pastries, it's even worse. They clearly taste like they've been in the freezer, stale, soggy, and completely lacking in freshness. The pain au chocolat and croissants are flat, with no crispness, no flavor, probably just defrosted! Left there until they become sadly soft and bland. And then there's the owner's attitude… it leaves much to be desired. Politeness and respect clearly don't seem to be in his vocabulary. The welcome is cold, almost unpleasant, with no attempt at self-reflection. When you sell products of such poor quality, the least you could do is be friendly.
