Excellent place to stay! A warm welcome, superb cuisine, a very comfortable room, and a breakfast that's well worth the trip...

This was one of the few places we found that did a breakfast. We sat outside in the sun. Not the best view although great on market day. We didn't stay or dine but the interior looked clean and comfortable

Please note, the hotel has been completely renovated and the staff has changed. Our two nights were perfect; the hotel is very well located, with a large free parking lot in front and shops and pedestrian streets nearby. The welcome was very friendly, and the rooms were very clean and modern. Air conditioning is not yet available. We dined in the restaurant; the waiter was very kind and attentive, and the dishes were generous and well-prepared. We have no complaints and are very satisfied with our stay. We will gladly return, especially since this hotel remains one of the best value options in Chinon. Congratulations on the reopening and the dynamism of this new team.

Excellent location, very clean and well-equipped room, a little small though, and welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

One night in this hotel. The room was recently renovated, very clean, with a comfortable bed and a spacious, modern bathroom. The room overlooked a courtyard. The common areas are old, as are the room doors, resulting in poor soundproofing in the hallway. However, it's not the hotel's fault if guests don't respect the quiet hours. Breakfast is not worth €12. The bread and pastries were frozen, there was very little fresh fruit (one orange and three apples), and the scrambled eggs, which were probably powdered, were inedible. The hotel lacks charm. I had to double-check to make sure I was in the right place because the photos didn't reflect reality, nor did the hotel's name. There's parking right across from the hotel, and the reception staff were very pleasant.

This is a great little stop over hotel and great value for the price. Right in the centre of town with easy free parking over the road in a large town square. Our welcome was very friendly with a lady who spoke good English to help with our broken French The rooms are small but clean and the beds were comfy. There wasn't air con but a fan was provided.

Just loved it. We were there for 1 night. Clean, and well maintained room. A1 service. We had dinner. It was fantastic. If we will plan to come here in Chinon. It will be our first choice.
