Au Maître Carré sur Tours

We stopped by thanks to the excellent ratings on Google. The manager is very friendly and smiling. The croques are good and plentiful. The restaurant is cozy and calm. The small downside was during payment... the displays indicated the price of 3 euros for each croque and 3 euros for a portion of fries. We were expecting a bill of 21 euros... but we had to pay 30 euros. Unpleasant feeling as a last impression, it's a shame!

Excellent restaurant, with tasty and tasty croques monsieur, perfect homemade fries and sauces and a very warm welcome and a boss who thinks of the customer before thinking about the end of the month (he asked us if we were students even though we were we had not seen or asked if there was a special formula) I totally recommend!

A great place to eat revisitation of classical "Croque-Monsieur", and more! Located just few meters away from Place Plumereau, in the historical centre of Tours. Good quality of food, the Croques are served with homemade fries and homemade (superb) sauces. Also, they have a nice selection of wines, and menu in several languages.

We stopped by chance! And despite our very late arrival time we were accepted! That was delicious !!

A delightful little restaurant in the middle of the beautiful old town of Tours. The owner is extremely nice and the croques are simply fantastic! We'd love to come back! 😍

Petit resto bien sympathique avec un accueil chaleureux des propriétaires et de leur fidèle toutou 🤣 Un bon passé en ces lieux !

Après le premier marathon de mon chéri arrêt à cette petite adresse !!! Nous nous sommes régalés personne adorable qui fait le service seul et avec le sourire !!!! Allez y les yeux fermés un petit clin d œil à happy!!! Douce et délicieuse halte au maître carré !!!! Merciiiiiiiii nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !!!
