When I come to Tours, a visit to "Martin Bleu" is a must. Chef Florent Martin has been at the helm for many years. He elevates Loire River fish (unjustly underappreciated in French cuisine). The presentation is perfect, the accompaniments judicious, and this is evident in the taste. But don't worry if you're not a big fish fan. The poultry and meat dishes are also excellent... you get the picture... I highly recommend it! 😍

The perfect restaurant if you want to enjoy good fish.
But they also have beuchelle à la tourangelle, a typical dish from the Touraine region.
In short, truly Rabelaisian and Balzacian cuisine.
