Fantastic experience at this little Strasbourg restaurant. The portions were generous and everything was delicious! The sauerkraut was absolutely superb, both in terms of quality and quantity. The service was perfect! I highly recommend it. (Spatzle/sauerkraut/cordon bleu pictured)

During a few nights in Strasbourg, we ended up at this restaurant on one of our evenings. For us, it was one of the first nights we could eat outside again. So when we saw a spot outside, we decided to go for it. Very cozy street, incredibly friendly service. This man loves his job!! So friendly and service-oriented. Very nice, also to our 2 kids. We had a delicious meal. Everything was perfect. Enjoyed a wonderful evening out. Highly recommended!! The crêperie opposite the restaurant is also very nice. Our kids really wanted to eat a crêpe there for dessert. We just had a nice dessert and coffee at the restaurant.

Excellent food at this small, well-located restaurant on the charming Rue des Tonneliers. I was recommended the lewerknepfle, and I wasn't disappointed; this dish is truly delicious. Highly recommended! 👍

Excellent lunch today at this "real" restaurant in the city center where the chef actually cooks. A very warm welcome, a table of four, and we can confirm the reputation of the signature dishes on the menu, including: snails, authentic Italian steak tartare, cordon bleu, and the molten chocolate cake! The service was as good as the food. Excellent value for money, not so common in the city center. A must-try for travelers or a great place to rediscover for locals. See you soon.

Attentive, friendly service. The food was outstanding. The egg in broth with foie gras was divine. Then one of the best steak tartarees we've ever had. The beef fillet was also superb.

15/04/2026: We ate here last night and it was some of the most delicious food we've ever had. The filet was excellent, the side dishes were incredibly tasty, the sauces amazing, and the dessert was divine. We would have loved to order everything again and never stop! ☺️ The service was also top-notch and very, very friendly!

24/05/2026: The restaurant is simply magnificent, both in terms of the quality of the service and welcome, and the quality of the dishes offered. As this was my second visit, I returned eager to discover more flavors and try more specialties. However, I felt that the dish “Black rice, squid tagliatelle, and parsley emulsion” could have been improved to be more balanced. I felt its price was a bit high for the culinary experience it offered. Furthermore, the amount of squid wasn't enough to make it a true main course; it was more like a side dish. In my opinion, the dish would benefit from some refinement, either by replacing the squid with meat or by adding another ingredient that would bring more richness and enjoyment to the palate, while also making it more substantial and memorable. Despite this, I will definitely return to continue exploring the restaurant's wonderful flavors, and I hope to find this dish in an even better version on my next visit. As for the desserts, they deserve a separate mention; they are truly exceptional.
