It's always a pleasure to stop at this place. We tried the sea bass à la carte; the dish was beautifully presented, the fish cooked perfectly, and the sirloin carpaccio was, as always, excellent. My opinion remains unchanged: it's a very good restaurant just steps from the cathedral.

Just a fun place, really helpful waiters. We came for the air conditioning during the recent heat wave, the air conditioning was intermittent but the food and atmosphere made us not notice. The area where the restaurant is located is perfect

I loved the meat it was absolutely delicious, very tender and fresh. The side dishes were excellent too. The place is beautiful, and the service is outstanding. I really loved it!

A very warm welcome from both the owner and the staff. I had a prawn risotto and my husband had a piece of Angus beef. I highly recommend it. We'll be back.

Meal booked through a gift box. So, a new experience for us. The staff were friendly and kind, well done! I had the Angus beef with the meat jus 🤩🤩 a pure delight 😀

It's always a pleasure to eat at Piano Grill. The staff is incredibly welcoming, the à la carte selection and daily specials are delicious, and it's ideally located with a surprisingly peaceful terrace in the summer! Plus, the kitchen stays open quite late. We'll definitely be back!

Au Petit Tonnelier

24/08/2026: To conclude our three-day visit to Strasbourg, we chose this fantastic restaurant, and what a hit it was! It is a small and incredibly cozy place, located on a super charming street. Everything was perfect right from the moment we arrived: the friendly owner and the incredibly attentive and hospitable waitress served us excellently all evening. After the aperitif, we chose the fresh tuna from the specials as a starter and — due to a small language mistake of my own — the beetroot carpaccio. Both were surprising and incredibly delicious! Naturally, accompanied by a fine French wine. For the main course, we both went for the steak with peppercorn sauce. It was truly outstanding, served with extremely tasty, crispy homemade fries. You can tell: this was without a doubt the big winner of our three-day culinary visit to Strasbourg. Definitely a must-visit if you are in the city (but absolutely make sure to book in advance)!
18/08/2026: Le Petit Tonnelier is an excellent restaurant in Strasbourg! We had a wonderful time. The dishes were delicious, prepared with high-quality ingredients and great care. A big thank you also for the impeccable service. The owner is particularly friendly and welcoming, and takes the time to chat with his customers, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return!
