Excellent address! We were well received. The kitchen is perfect. Everything is homemade. We took the menu: from starter to dessert, nothing to say except that we enjoyed ourselves. Very warm atmosphere. The boss is very caring. Just perfect with, in addition, a terrace at the water's edge. We will come back

Nous nous réjouissions de goûter à nouveau à l'excellente cuisine de Philippe que nous connaissons depuis de nombreuses années à l'époque où il officiait dans un restaurant de Niederbronn les bains. Ce repas fut excellent et nous avons retrouvé son grand savoir faire. Par contre quelle déception sur le plan accueil et service. Incompétence de la serveuse à qui nous avons réclamé les mises en bouche allant avec notre apéritif et qui nous a répondu : "c'est trop cher nous n'en faisons plus ou alors il faudra augmenter nos prix. Cette explication aurait du nous être fournie par la Direction. Pour un établissement se voulant gastronomique, il y a un gros effort à faire.

The four stars are due to the Google system, because I can't enter 4.5. It's a shame, a bit of precision is lost and you inevitably do the restaurant an injustice. “During the week” there is an extremely inexpensive Menu Bistrot for €25. For the Germans in words: FÜFUNDZWANZIG. Three gears! Here you can get a rump steak without any side dishes... My wife and I had all variations, the photos are just my dishes. Starter: Fresh rump steak tartare in a generous portion, very delicately seasoned with "Moutarde à l'ancien" and plenty of capers - perfect. Main course Morel-crusted chicken breast with French fries. You notice the price and the economic constraints, the crust would of course have been much tastier with fresh morels (in May... but let's leave that alone). The meat was prepared to perfection, not a bit dry or fibrous. Nowadays, dessert would probably be described as a chocolate brownie with a liquid center. Served lukewarm. 1 liter bottle of sparkling water for €5, piconbière for €4 - that's again inexpensive. Wine list purely French, but covering the most important regions. Calculation fair, the wines are fine. But for something really good you can expect around €40. At some point the landlord has to earn something! It's unimaginable to see something like this served in a tourist hotspot on the banks of the Lauter. The terraces are less attractive than the indoor bridge over the Lauter - you can hardly see any of the idyllic sight.

The main course could have been a little bigger.

Restaurant with a superb view. The menu was good. The meat was tender. The perfect egg is very good with the super crunchy asparagus. See the photos.

We had lunch here on our walk through the city. Directly on the Lauter canal enjoyed the delicious lunch menu. Very friendly service, reasonable prices and great food. Very nice!

Hello, you should really update your sites (menus), because the menu, already very limited, does not correspond at all to what we had seen on the internet or on your Facebook page, too bad, apart from that the meal was good ...but the menus displayed are a little misleading. Absolutely beautiful setting

Cadre sobre et accueil cordial . Nous optons pour le menu bistrot à 25€ . Les mets avec des plats revisités étaient savoureux et excellents . La carte des vins offre de bons choix mais les prix sont dans la moyenne haute . Ce fut une belle expérience . Nous reviendrons !
