Au Relais des Ménétriers sur Ribeauville

We visited at the beginning of July for our first anniversary. We had reserved a table specifically to ensure a quiet spot, but we received impeccable service with exceptional attention to detail. The food was delicious, the service superb, and the little chocolate plaques commemorating our anniversary were a delightful surprise. It was our first time dining in this type of establishment, and we were charmed and touched. Thank you for this wonderful experience, and I wish you continued success and all the best.

We have eaten here for our last dinner in the Elzas. So refreshing to eat something totally different from the traditional Alsacian food. Excellent sevice (thanks Roger and colleague), wine spice paring advice excellent. Very nice table setting with lots of space. A very nice experience, indeed. This is a little gem in Ribeauvilé!!

We opted for the Prelude menu. Excellent dishes, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Generous portions and attentive service. The chef even brought us petit fours at the end of our meal. I highly recommend this new restaurant, which recently changed ownership.

I've rarely eaten so well. In every dish, you can taste the real effort put into the ingredients and the flavors, which deserve to be better known and appreciated. All this is accompanied by excellent service. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

By far the best restaurant in the region among those I tried (mostly recommended by the Michelin guide) over a week-long vacation. I mean: in all restaurants I tried food was between good and excellent, always carefully prepared with top quality ingredients. Sometimes special. But this one was more than special. The chef is, IMHO, a genius: both my appetizer (amberjack carpaccio) and main course (sea bass with fennel) were based on a subtle play involving contrasts in flavors, textures, temperatures (cold, lukewarm, hot) - and also colors, everything was visually very appealing. Nothing excessive or overdone, everything harmonious and natural and just perfect. The chef (Anish Chourey) came out very kindly and I was honored to be able to thank him and congratulate him. I should add that the service was impeccable and perfectly timed. The wait between appetizer and mains was quite brief (and the appetizer was preceded by two amuse-bouche), the wines I had ordered appeared in the exact moment the corresponding dishes were served, the bread basket was instantly refilled. All this in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere...perhaps explaining why the restaurant does not have the Michelin stars that the quality of its food would surely deserve.
