We have come to Le Vieux fourneau several times and I must say that we have never been disappointed! Top server, great value for money, quite a few choices on the menu, very pleasant atmosphere, I recommend

My wife and I both opted for the Gourmet Menu at 35€ and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Well cooked food, nicely presented and friendly attentive service too.
A little bit away from the main tourist restaurants and the majority of the clientele were French, always a good sign.

good service, smiling and friendly staff. Good value for money for the menu at €26. we ate well. For a last minute reservation, we were seated in the veranda. Small table in a corner but close to the front door and being a little cold, they didn't hesitate immediately to turn up the air conditioning.

Very good evening at the old stove. We ate very well for an affordable price. The servers were welcoming and knew how to take into consideration our pace for the meal. I recommend.
PS: entry to Maroille is a treat.

Unobtrusive and unexpected!
A small restaurant with a winter garden. A menu for €26 per person Starting with an appetizer as a greeting from the kitchen and ending with dessert, it was an absolutely unexpected culinary delight. Each of the three courses was perfect in terms of appearance, craftsmanship and taste. For the rather dreary Calais, the spontaneous visit here was an unforgettable experience for our palate!! Served by an extremely friendly and attentive staff! All thumbs up!!! We will come back!!
