We ate there Saturday evening and received a friendly welcome and excellent service. The Welsh rarebit and andouillette sausage were delicious, and the Welsh rarebit was the best we've ever had.

We went to the Old Port for the Welsh rarebit, which is ranked second in the Welsh Rarebit Elite Facebook group, a list of establishments that truly do justice to melted cheddar. To put it simply, the restaurant earned its place; the Welsh rarebit was perfect, as was the egg on top. Our only regret was being seated inside despite our reservation, as the terrace was full. It just gives us a reason to come back and enjoy the terrace.

We were very satisfied, both with the very pleasant waiter and the quality of the food. We simply had a wonderful meal, nothing to complain about! We came as a family of four with the children this evening. I had the "crying pig" dish and it was simply excellent. Hats off to the chef! I highly recommend it.

We arrived around 12:30 pm and were seated quickly. Good value for money. Generous and delicious portions. The Welsh rarebit was amazing, highly recommended. One of the best I've had in a long time.

A wonderful discovery! I thoroughly enjoyed the daily special, and the homemade gourmet coffee was a real treat 🤤 The prices are very reasonable, the setting is pleasant, and the welcome was warm. The staff are friendly and welcoming; you feel right at home. A great place that I highly recommend, and I'll gladly return!

03/08/2026: Noooooooo I came at 12:30 pm on Monday, August 3rd, and found it was closed... The store had a sign on the door saying it was closed on Mondays, but Google Maps showed it was open as usual. I really want to eat fish and chips 🥲
