Delicious crêpes, quality ingredients, a warm and quick welcome and service, and attentive staff. We had a wonderful time in this retro Breton setting with its high-quality cuisine. Our favorite crêperie was closed, so we discovered Crêperie au Vieux Quimper, and it was a great success. The decor is fantastic, the crêpes are delicious, the service is a little slow, but otherwise everything is great.

We had the most wonderful experience at this charming crêperie. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like old friends. The atmosphere was cozy and rustic, with traditional Breton decor and the comforting aroma of buckwheat crêpes cooking on the griddle. The menu featured a fantastic variety of both savoury galettes and sweet crêpes, all made with fresh, local ingredients. I ordered a galette complète with ham, cheese, and a perfectly cooked egg — the buckwheat base was crisp around the edges and soft in the middle, with a deliciously nutty flavour. My partner tried the goat cheese, honey, and walnut galette, which was absolutely divine — the balance of sweet and savoury was perfect. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the classic crêpe. We paired our meal with a bowl of cold Breton cider, which was crisp, slightly dry, and complemented the food beautifully. What made the experience even more special was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and local traditions. You could tell everything was made with care and love for the region’s culinary heritage. If you’re visiting Brittany, this crêperie is an absolute must. It captures everything that makes this region so special — warm people, rich culture, and food that comforts and delights. I would come back in a heartbeat!
