The local food was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was good. It was a bit pricey, but considering it's a tourist area, that's acceptable.

After comparing reviews and prices of restaurants serving traditional Alsatian dishes in Strasbourg, we chose "Au Vieux Strasbourg" and we were delighted. The food was delicious, the waiters and waitresses very friendly, and the setting is charming. I recommend making a reservation as it's very popular.

5 stars. Absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere feels like stepping into an old Strasbourg postcard with traditional Alsatian dishes, cozy streets, and amazing service. The onion soup was rich and flavorful, the fish dish was incredibly fresh, and the baked specialties were comforting and delicious. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. Friendly staff, beautiful presentation, and a perfect spot to experience local cuisine in Strasbourg. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants during the trip and a place I would happily visit again.

16/04/2026: Not enough climbing, too much time spent in the snack room. Out of 3 hours, only 1 to 1.5 hours of climbing. What a shame.
