An interesting but incomplete dining experience. A pretty table awaits you on arrival. Tastefully presented in a very classic atmosphere. All in a pretty Picardy inn. I will rate this restaurant harshly but from a certain price range, you are necessarily more critical and above all more demanding. I was impressed by the execution of some dishes and disappointed by others. Which is unfortunate for this type of establishment. We had the Easter menu and there were quite a few people at the table. From the start, the nice surprises keep coming. The extraction of muché Picard is an interesting taste experience, the diaphanous frog is impressive both visually and taste-wise. The perch stained glass is a beautiful creation, my favorite dish was the morel and vin jaune soufflé. Simply magnificent ! Nice surprise on the bread which is superb visually and in taste. I'm not going to comment on the whole menu, it was long. On the other hand, I have to talk about the lamb which surprised me a lot. A lamb chop on a plate that felt very lonely. (View the photo) No toppings to accompany it? Curious about a dish... I didn't really understand the principle. And a pretty bad mark on dessert. All the other tables were treated to a sort of veil of sugar covering all their plates. For our table, this one had disappeared. So you won't see it in the photos, just like us. Disappointment ! Another problem in my opinion is the wine list. Entry level, with crazy prices for the wines offered. And then you have a gap and switch to expensive wines. Between the two? Nothing! This card lacks balance. But what bothered me the most is that the wines are essentially natural wines, I know it's fashionable but it's not necessarily to everyone's taste. Small disappointment also with the service. We were served water and wine the first time. Then we did the service ourselves. When it was time for cheese, we had to ask for bread 3 times before it arrived. Which is quite strange for this price range (again). Having worked in this type of establishment, I think that the service is not up to standard. To conclude, I would say that the experience is mixed. We would have liked a little more service and a more balanced wine list. I nevertheless recommend the experience if you are curious to discover Mr Tantôt's cuisine.

The Good Idea Inn is a wonderful and peaceful setting. Impeccable service, mind-blowing culinary discoveries. The head waiter and the waiters are very discreet and attentive to our needs. An explanation of the dishes by Mickael the waiter or by Grégoire the second took us on a journey before our taste discoveries. Attached is a video of the kitchen assistant who makes a homemade honey smoothie for us. We will come back with joy and pleasure. And the little attention for our wedding anniversary was a very nice surprise.

We tested the gourmet restaurant by Chef Sébastien Tantot, holding one star in the Michelin guide. Culinary journey in a bucolic setting. A quality service, thank you again for this lovely moment.

Exceptional restaurant. Inventive cuisine, with flavors as refined as they are original. Very pleasant, friendly and attentive service. An absolutely charming village in the heart of the Compiègne forest. In short, an address that is worth the detour.

very nice experience, intimate, quiet place, very well presented in terms of decor (the aperitif near the fireplace enhances the moment), very pleasant, responsive, professional and attentive staff and the restaurant a must. To do without hesitation and/or to repeat.

The first time we were captivated by this restaurant like no other, we returned at the end of December and noted the evolution of this house masterfully run by the great chef Tantot. Non-code kitchen We will definitely come back

Une symphonie gustative et une explosion de saveurs, une soirée incroyable entre forêt, mer, vieille tradition, miel et vitraux. Cuisine dans le haut du panier des 1*, plus proche des 2**. Service aux petits soins, spectacle des chefs à table ! Merci pour ce moment.

Expérience géniale. Ne croyez pas les mauvais commentaires que vous lisez ici, tt est faux. Ça n'aurait pas pu être mieux. Les employés sont super agréables et naturels, le repas est animé, les enfants sont choyés, le menu extra... Il y a tellement à dire... On a adoré.
