An authentic gem in the heart of the village! We had an absolutely delightful time at La Fontaine St Jean. It's the perfect place for those looking for genuine, local, and generous cuisine. What we loved: • Delicious, local cuisine: From appetizer to dessert, everything is expertly prepared. The homemade terrine is excellent, and the leg of lamb is melt-in-your-mouth tender. You can taste the quality of the local Picardy produce in every dish. • Perfect for families: It's rare enough to be worth mentioning, but this establishment is truly kid-friendly. Between the high-quality children's menu (finally, real breaded chicken pieces and homemade fries!) and the crayons provided on the "treasure map" placemats, the little ones are thrilled. • A charming setting: The restaurant is a magnificent stone building with green shutters, typical and welcoming. Inside, the "Bistrot de Pays" atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly and attentive service. • The sweet touch: Don't leave without trying the homemade ice cream (special mention for the very generous homemade whipped cream!). In short: a friendly welcome, very reasonable prices for the quality (set menus on the chalkboard), and delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

At La Fontaine Saint-Jean by Juju, eating light is sacrilege. Once you start, you simply must honor the chef's cuisine, which he clearly pours his heart into. As a vegetarian, I walked in despite the lack of vegetarian options on the menu, reassured by the chef, who told me he would prepare them to order. A true delight, generously portioned: a salad with local cheese toasts, a flavorful plate of perfectly cooked vegetables—including a melt-in-your-mouth celery, all seasoned just right. And a marvelous strawberry tart… The acoustics are also very pleasant: the lively tables of bon vivants don't disturb the more discreet diners at all. Bravo to the chef and his front-of-house team! The welcome and service were as good as ever. I was just disappointed to see that the portions of some dishes were smaller. For example, the sirloin steak was very small, with a lot of fat, and very little sauce.

Finally, a restaurant that delighted us from the very beginning with a local beer, expertly prepared starters, flavorful regional dishes, and delicious, high-quality desserts—and I almost forgot! A personalized and memorable welcome. The best meal of our trip to Picardy.

A pleasant restaurant with a warm, very local atmosphere. You feel right at home enjoying the chef's delicious dishes. A splendid rib of beef to share with the family, served with homemade fries and peppercorn and béarnaise sauces. The portions were generous, but our sweet tooth led us to order dessert, the Picardy-style rabotte. A great choice—it was delicious! The service was quick and efficient; La Fontaine St Jean is a great place, and word gets around. Reservations are recommended.
