Pleasant surroundings, the decor is Alsatian-style, giving the impression of being at the Pulversheim open-air museum.
The service was impeccable.
The prices are quite high, as is typical of establishments aiming for a certain level of prestige.
This rediscovery has finally reconciled us with the restaurant and its cuisine. Thank you to the entire team at Le Vieux Pressoir.

I discovered the place thanks to a great-uncle's birthday party.
Impressed by the decor, the delicate service, and the refined cuisine, among other things, I returned with my fiancée to propose. The attentive waiters and waiters treated her to a meal fit for a princess.
Afterward, we enjoyed a romantic walk along the nearby trails.
Finally, we were able to purchase boxes of wine (late harvest or noble grape) that we presented at our wedding.
A big thank you to the entire team
and I want to say that I've enjoyed returning regularly ever since.

We have had lunch at the restaurant several times and we are always so satisfied 🤗 Very good food and the service is just perfect, the staff is exceptionally kind. ☺️ We can't wait to celebrate our wedding next year at their place. (The photos are from this summer and not from our meal in October)

I had a menu that was delicious, but the main course was so full it was as if I hadn't ordered a menu at all. I got three whole slices of boiled beef with a ton of fried potatoes, which was a completely oversized plate in itself. Why do you have to serve so much food instead of just offering half a portion?
The service was very slow. The staff were trained to be friendly, but not very emotional or warm.
The ambiance was an old room with nice details, but the white tablecloths and the very muted conversations made it feel very stuffy and not very authentic for Alsace, where you usually hear hearty laughter in a restaurant. There were also almost only tourists there, which was a shame.
