Auberge Bressane sur Paris

DH really likes this place. We both enjoy the feel of the place. I had the foie gras entree and it was good—not amazing, though. The coq au vin had a good sauce but the meat was almost inedible—still very tough. The mashed potatoes were not nearly as good as many others I have had. I had a couple bites of DH’s veal with cream and morels. It was good but not amazing. The trio of soufflés were very nice. Well prepared and complementary flavors.

I invited a table of 15 people, I didn't want to hear the prices of each dish that wasn't on the menu. I found it very indelicate and very clumsy. Same for my wife with her table of two who asked that the prices not be quoted, the waitress, and the waitress continued anyway. Hello my dear Veronique, I don’t know if you got my email. We love your restaurant and have eaten there many time. The souffle salted caramel is fantastic! My steak was not cooked enough (I ordered medium, but it was very rare), however I ate it and enjoyed it. The crab souffle is always a favorite. Thank you.
