Auberge Costebelle sur Saint-Veran

A very welcoming place to explore Saint Veran and the Queyras region: very cozy lounges, delicious and original cuisine, and a great soundtrack. The hosts are pleasant and attentive. A truly lovely place.

We had a wonderful stay at the Costebelle hostel. Fanny and Nico are very welcoming, and the place is so warm and full of good vibes. The food is delicious and full of flavor. Fantastic 4-day snowshoeing trip with friends in St. Véran. We stayed at the beautiful Gîte Costebelle, where Fanny and Nico gave us a very warm welcome. The rooms were spotless and well-appointed, the home-cooked meals were excellent and plentiful, and the gîte is ideally located in the charming and authentic village of St. Véran, close to the starting points for snowshoeing trails. I highly recommend this gîte to anyone planning a trip there. We'll definitely be back, but this time in the summer for some great hikes.

Another superb place to stay in the Queyras region, with welcoming owners who go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome! Excellent, simple, and satisfying food, especially after a long snowshoe hike in the Queyras mountains. It's located in the village of Saint-Véran, which sits at an altitude of 2,042 meters and is listed among the most beautiful villages in France.

I recommend this cottage with my eyes closed. The owners are very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The meals are plentiful, tasty, and excellent. We celebrated a birthday this weekend and everything was perfect: the warm atmosphere, the setting, and the owners' discretion. Top-notch. Go for it!

We stopped here. The meal was perfect (zucchini crozets); breakfast and picnic lunch were adequate. The rooms were clean and the showers hot upon arrival were wonderful. Nico and Fanny gave excellent advice on alternative routes along the GR58. Would definitely recommend it again.
