The menu was delicious and perfectly suited to the season; we loved it! We're quite regulars and found the service slightly less attentive than usual. There was a wait after our aperitif, one course wasn't presented, and the sommelier wasn't very friendly. Note: the previous sommelier was a real gem and captivated us with his explanations. We'll gladly return and highly recommend this restaurant, the best in Le Mans without hesitation!

Our first experience here, celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. We enjoyed an aperitif outside in a very pleasant setting. Inside, the dining room feels like a cozy cocoon. The cuisine is exquisite; everything is perfect: the presentation, the taste—it's an explosion of flavors. A great deal of creativity. The waitstaff is incredibly attentive, and the service is perfectly orchestrated. We particularly appreciated the interaction with the Chef, who came to greet his guests. It would be helpful to have the menu presented when choosing an aperitif, so we could see the prices, as our selection was made verbally.

Another wonderful experience at the Auberge de Bagatelle. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the dishes are always surprising and delicious, all made with local produce. It's expensive, but worth every penny. For us, it's the best restaurant in Sarthe. We'll be back as soon as we can afford it!

Every visit to this establishment is a truly exceptional gastronomic experience. However, be aware that the prices of drinks (especially the wine pairings) can quickly inflate the bill, and the wines themselves are not particularly exceptional and are served in very small portions.

31/07/2026: Hello, some friends gave me this meal as a birthday present. We were well received; the aperitif, starter, and main course were all perfect, no complaints. However, the desserts were a disaster. We ordered two homemade rum babas, but we're still looking for the rum. We mentioned it to the waiter, who passed the information along, but no one came to check. And the strawberry soup with rhubarb ice cream, served with a scoop of blackcurrant liqueur, was later corrected. Mistakes happen, but I feel there was a lack of professionalism. I've been to your restaurant several times and have never been disappointed before. I hope you will take our comments into account. Have a good day.
23/07/2026: Very good, a nice lunch with colleagues before the holidays. The terrace is covered in case of sudden rain or intense heat. It can also be closed. The setting is very pleasant. Good, generous portions.
