08/02/2026: We spent an evening enjoying a gourmet dinner, an overnight stay in a Paul Varenne room, and breakfast. The gourmet dinner was a delight: high-quality traditional cuisine, attentive service, everything was delicious and perfect. The wine pairing was excellent. Excellent, refined cuisine. Breakfast was identical to dinner: fresh, locally sourced ingredients, everything was succulent. A genuine desire to please and delight. The couple who run the hotel are attentive, caring, and always smiling, as are their apprentices in the dining room. I was truly delighted with this stay. Admittedly, one could point out a few slightly dated details here and there, such as the decor which could use a refresh. But this quickly fades into the background thanks to the sincere and touching welcome from the couple who run the hotel. We were especially fortunate to have the opportunity to speak with Madame—Monsieur was in the kitchen—and her kindness, presence, and attentiveness completely made us forget everything else. In the end, we were left with a feeling of well-being and a very fond memory of this stay.
